R4L on Air through partnership with Swahiba & Pamoja Radio

Biblica in partnership with Swahiba Youth Network & Pamoja Radio were able to run R4L on air. The approximate audience is about 560,000 . During the shows 276 youth went to the station to receive their R4L copies and 53 are reported to have given their lives to Christ.

Swahiba Networks is a Christian organization whose primary focus is on the marginalized, underprivileged and destitute communities in Kenya. They are involved in youth discipleship.

Pamoja is a Swahili word meaning Together – Pamoja FM tells a story on how a community radio station is helping heal a nation. In a nutshell, Pamoja radio 99.9 FM is an instrument of peace and a medium of community development.

Pamoja FM –the voice of Kibera was formed in 2007 to empower the youth of Kibera and its environs through education, information, and entertainment. Radio is the main and sometimes the only source of information for people living in informal settlements as they have limited access to TV or newspapers due to illiteracy, poverty, or both.
