THE REACH4LIFE – A TEAM PARTNERSHIP BRINGING TRANSFORMATION IN TOGO

Compassion International Togo has achieved unprecedented levels of success with the Reach4Life training – something never witnessed before. Together with Hopespring Foundation Ghana, they came up with an intentional capacity-building project that helps implement the Reach4Life programme very well. Instead of the usual Ambassadors’ Training and Peer Educators’ Training, they have designed training that includes Coaches’ and Trainers’ Training.

To increase effectiveness and reduce the class sizes during the training, they have divided the country into four zones. They have covered two zones so far for a pilot and are ready for full implementation. Hopespring Foundation has organized four major trainings and two monitoring sessions with 43 Ambassadors and 82 Peer Educators already trained and continuing. They are currently awaiting the arrival of 30,000 copies of the Reach4Life books through the Compassion scripture match project.

During a recent visit to Togo by the Biblica West Africa Regional Director, the Compassion International Officers shared how during a recent visit from the Compassion Global office, the team was most inspired by stories and testimonies from the Reach4Life programme out of the three main programmes they are running in the country. 

Compassion International Togo is surely leading the way for the other Biblica Strategic Partners in the West Africa region, especially other Compassion offices.
