Youth and the Church: Bridging the Gap

In Uganda, ServeNow is working very closely with Biblica on Reach 4 Life in partnership with the Gospel Messengers Ministry. They recently held a mega Conference in Gomba district with over 40 Pastors in attendance.

They introduced the R4L Bibles and held a training. One of the attendees, Rev. Moses, highlighted some of the challenges that youths in the Church today go through such as fornication, homosexuality, drug addiction, rejection among other challenges. He further said that so many youths have questions that Pastors are not able to respond to. But now these questions have been thoroughly answered, with scriptural backing in the R4L Bibles. It was also clear that, most of the churches had neglected the youth and in turn, the youth have gone astray.

These Pastors and youth leaders received the Bibles and promised to revive the youth ministry in their churches by holding youth meetings and going through the Reach4Life Bibles. They received a total of 120 copies of the Reach4Life Bibles, to help them teach the Youth in their local churches.
